Reliance Jio’s 4G VoLTE feature phone project has been shining in the discussion for a long time. Since the launch of Reliance Jio, there has been a discussion about its upcoming feature phone. So far, many photographs and reports have been coming out, but now the new claim is being made. It is reported that the upcoming Jio 4G VoLTE feature phone will cost Rs 500 and this phone can be launched on July 21. Actually, on this day is the annual general meeting of Reliance Industries and the company can announce its feature phone in this meeting.
According to the Economic Times report, Reliance Jio 4G VoLTE feature phone will come up with a price of Rs 500. Rajeev Sharma, an analyst with HSBC Telecom, said that “Jio can launch his own feature phone at 500 rupees”. This price has been kept for 2G customers to reach 4G.
It has been claimed in the report that orders for making 18-20 million models of 4G VoLTE phones have been given to the Chinese manufacturing company which will be ready by the end of July. However, no information has been given from the company on this.
No 4G feature phones have been launched in India so far. Most feature phones come with 2G connectivity. Micromax and Lava have recently launched a smartphone that gives 4G connectivity to the entry level budget. But their price is only 3000 rupees. In such a way, the phone worth 500 rupees can bring a new revolution.
