This incident happened in a Bangalore’s retail store. According to the information, the Redmi note 4 suddenly burst into flames when the retail store employee was putting SIM card on a consumer’s phone.
This shocking incident caught on the CCTV camera of the mobile shop. According to the CCTV Footage when a store employee was trying to insert SIM into the phone and as soon as he inserted the SIM ejector to remove the SIM tray, the mobile phone suddenly burst into flames.
According to the TechCase report, this incident happened on 17th July, the user had bought this phone in June 2017 itself. According to the bill, it was a 3 GB RAM and 32 GB storage variant of Redmi Note 4 which the user had bought for Rs 11,499.
However, later TechCase reported that the matter has settled and the company took immediate action on this and provide a replacement device to the customer. It was a matter of fate that nothing happened to anyone. And this is not the first incident, there was also a report on Xiaomi’s Mi 4i catching fire.
